About Us

Operation Game Thief was started as a non-profit corporation in 1989 in an effort to provide a tip line for wildlife violations. The non-profit corporation was dissolved in 2001 and the remaining funds were given to the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department to pay rewards for tips leading to arrests. In 2010 interested Conservation Officers formed the Operation Game Thief Committee, which established current and future goals for the program. The ultimate objective was to increase the amount of credible information received concerning wildlife violations. NHOGT provides the public with the option of calling the Operation Game Thief hotline at the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department Headquarters during normal business hours or NH State Police Troop F on nights and weekends. We also offer an on-line reporting system through this website and apps that can be download for Android and IOS devices.
